It 'can easily get stressed out with Google AdWords. The thought of someone clicks on your ad and cost money each time can be overwhelming. The best technique – after the first few days of starting a new campaign – is to move away from monitoring your account for some time. Then come back to it to have a look and make any necessary changes.
Here's how;
After setting the new campaign, your ads look closely for a few hours beforeand days (especially if you choose a popular keyword). Why?
We want to build a quality score for ads to save money in the long term. But you do not want excess supply and end up too high a position on the search results page (in particular the number one position – Which is often inefficient and should be avoided).
There is usually a delay of 2-3 hours before the data to choose your ads will begin to register in your Google account. So do not be too stressed tothose first hours.
But then, if you can, I recommend checking in your new country every 2-3 hours to see how things go. You may find that you are in mass or excess supply due to the amount of clicks you're getting (or not getting).
Remember to set a daily budget your Google Account Manager (Edit Campaign Settings> Budget Options panel). Many advertisers have learned unfortunate, to their dismay, that you can easily blow a wholemonth advertising budget in a few days – if a balance sheet value of the campaign is not set correctly.
Continue the monitoring process for a day or two, until you have the ad position you are aiming. Then, gradually reducing the supply.
And relax.
You did a good job to get your ads started down the road to success – you deserve a break.
Remember that Google AdWords is to be used in the long term, to create leads and sales for the company. Try not to worry about smallimperfections and look at the big picture. If things do not work out, there is almost always something you can do to improve the situation.
Or, if an ad is not only working for you after trying a number of improvements (including changes to your landing page website) which is sometimes better to stop the campaign. And start a new one.
What you need to understand: at the beginning of a new Google AdWords campaign, you need to check very closely the thingsavoid wasting your money. After six comfortable enough things are going pretty well – try to relax. Take a break and get away from your Google account for a few days.
